Spring Cleaning: Isolation Hobby Reboot
Work From Home Day 6
I realize that the new Sisters of Battle models aren’t that old to really be Spring Cleaning, but I’d like to get them assembled for my wife to try some Kill Team, or as proxies in Deadzone. Games Workshop obviously has some killer plastic models, and these are no exception, but I was a bit surprised at how fiddly they were to get together. I was also disappointed in that while you get ten unique models, there isn’t a lot of flexibility. I realize that there are options for some of the models so that they can have different weapons, but the body options are effectively static for the set. I wonder if they could have made the models with fewer pieces, but that is clearly not my area of expertise.
The bases are 3d printed on an Ender 3 FDM printer. The files were purchased from Legionnaire Games and can be obtained at Wargame Vault.
Years ago, when GW went seriously into multipart plastic there were so many parts… so many parts. Yet every mini ended looking up quite similar. Now, no multipart but not many options either. More unique and dynamic, but less customisation. Just an observation…
You’re doing great!
