Crisis? What crisis?
“By Odin’s beard, you shall not cut my hair, lest you feel the wrath of the mighty Thor”
The postman has been this morning and has delivered the Guardians of Asgard!! Thor, Hela, Loki and Valkeriye. Whilst I'm really excited at the prospect of getting these guys on the table they definitely seem to have a lot more detail on them which for a speed painter like me is a little daunting. Out of the four Thor seems to be the simplest option so lets get to work on the Lord of Sparkles himself!!
Drybrush step
In the wash step i did break one of my rules and painted red ink straight onto the cape without adding wash medium. Ended up with a gritty looking finish but managed to pull it back with a 50/50 wash strong tone mix. Not perfect but good enough!
