Picture Rotation
I think I’ve identified some regularity in the thumbnails being incorrectly rotated: if taken with my iPhone in portrait mode the system correctly orients the picture but not the thumbnail; if taken with my iPhone in landscape mode, both are oriented correctly.
I’ll have to test this to see whether taking all pics in landscape and cropping them solves the issue. I’ll also have to see if taking pictures with my DSLR is ever subject to this issue. There does seem, however to be some regularity: see Hades with his pinned staff v. the Athena & her owl post after and the Hades with snapped staff post before.
I’ve seen several users have this problem, and I’ve encountered it myself. Not seen a definitive reason why it happens yet.
