Paving Bridges

First attempt at paving the bridges involved air dry clay and green stuff worlds small dutch bricks roller, results were inconclusive at best although an imprint was left in places it was very weak.

Take 2

After seeing the terrain tutors video on hirst arts molds I looked for something that could work, unfortunately nothing quite matched and all options were quite expensive, so I made my own.

Plasticine rolled into tiles 5″x2″ and 5″x5″, if you need to expand the amount used apply too much and roll it into your existing work so as to avoid seams, textured using the aforementioned roller then trimmed back to size.

Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) silicon was used to make the molds (wear gloves if you want to avoid looking like a smurf). In order to pour the silicon first construct a dam using Plasticine and liberally coat everything in sculptors Vaseline, then pour and observe with spares to fix leaks.
