Wolf's Flames of war late war V4 update
Germans Done! US Armor getting in
Hello Everyone!
Quite pleased with the pigment work and airbrush work of the day.
So, this morning I applied The usual Mig Europe Dust and Black soot on the Panther and then varnished it with the airbrush you see in the back, for that I used the suction cup as I didn’t want to use a big pot like the one on the airbrush in the picture.
Then I used the pot to mix some Vallejo Brown Violet 887 with some Vallejo Airbrush thinner and a few drops of Airflow improved by Vallejo also. Added some water in the mix, but next time I think I’ll try only with some airbrush thinner.
Took me a while but 7 of them (2 in resine and plastic and 5 in plastic) are base coated.
And as always here is the picture!
But I ain’t done just yet. This little airbrush really did stun me, it works real well and for the hour or so that I airbrushed the base coat I had 0 problems of clogging and didn’t even have to preemptively clean the needle.
Also in the picture bellow you can see how effective the suction cup is, you nearly loose nothing at all. Also in the paint pot it does suck out all the paint out, where I was afraid of it leaving a bit at the bottom.
So yes I will use my old model as soon as I get them again, but for large areas or project…. I will go back to this one, plus unlike the one from Friday it is double action which is nice to blow air on the paint to make it dry.
love it
