Defiance
The start of a new adventure.
This is the start of a new adventure in the world of infinity. I cant wait for the Kickstarter to be fulfilled. As soon as it was over I went out and got Valkyrie. Just finished painting it today which marks the start of my defiance project.
My hope is to document the painting, playing, expansion through home brewing scenarios and possibly a campaign for this game.
Valkyrie 
I want to make each model unique. For my infinity models each one has a base like not exactly like any other.
I will be making base toppers for all my defiance mini’s but keeping them compatible with Infinity.
I started this process out using Valkyrie as a test model and used the tile from the demo game to make a base for her by taking some elements and making them 3D for the base using fusion 360

Base drawn in Fusion 360 then 3d printed. I got operation wildfire to get a head start as well. This will be the first larger part of the project. This should give me a boost in getting things done for defiance. This is the second time of me putting this together last time I got logged out when posting. Providing this posts there will be more to come.

I have gotten as far as acquiring a bunch of the minis that will work in defiance but neither to assembling them nor painting them.
I look forward to watching your progress and eventually making some of my own.
Yeah it’s quite daunting. never backed a Kickstarter before so unsure how I will react with so many miniatures being delivered at once. Possibly give up before I get started? I hope not. Can’t wait to see your project!
Reading the project description I thought that it may be something like a camping site in front of box office two years before the movie premieres ;).
Fortunately it is so much more, you really nailed it with the base, I may be stealing/borrowing that idea if you don’t mind.
As for the paintjob I particularly like her shield, a golden button winner for me.
What can I say I just couldn’t wait. 🙂 Still probably 6 months premature but it may take me that long to get the start done.
I don’t mind you stealing the idea for the bases at all. As soon as I know how many models I should get I will start to design make the bases and will probably make them public for people to 3d print their own. I think there will be over 100. I hope they tease some more of the tiles to give me more to work with.

As for the tiles, I only know two designs, the demo they sent all over the place and presented during KS (some YT playthroughs have some nice close ups of those) and the one from one of the updates over on the KS site.
