so just a short update about why I mark my Guard the way I do.

first of the read strip on the shoulder and vehicle is to represent that the the battalion markings, in this case red is the colour for the number = 1. The numbers on the shoulder pad represent the unit on a company level. ex. red marking and nr. 823 represent = 1 battalion, 8 company, 2 platoon, 3 squad.

Next is the shoulder marking symbol overturned E. I myself have a military background as a danish Combat Engineer (panser ingeniør aka sapper, pioneer ), and the overtured E is the international marking for combat engineers. I thought that it would be funny if my guard army also had that as a marking.
