Curse, curse, curse
Curse, curse, curse
I took a hiatus after finishing the Thorns of the Briar Queen, did some more terrain (more of that later), and then decided to pick up the warbands again.
GW Contrast Paints had just been released, and I really wanted to try them as a productivity aid.
Stormsire’s Cursbreakers felt like a good candidate to try, as I knew from experiments I could get Gold and leather done really quickly.
For the Gold – I basecoated Stormhost Silver and then applied a coat of Contrast Nazdreg Yellow. It gives a lovely old gold really quickly.
The leather cloaks are a couple of coats of Contrast Snakebite Leather over the Wraithbone Primer. I then highlighted a little over the top and added some scratchy texture. The scratches aren’t my finest attempt at this technique, but going for speed and playable, I’m happy enough with them.
