Mortal Gods Demo, 300 points
The other week I demoed Mortal Gods to one of my local wargames club Geek Villain Gaming in Enderby, Leicester, a new and growing club. The forces involved were basically the same generic Greek forces and made for the figures that you find in the Core box for Mortal Gods.
The scenario was a simple kill the opposing Lochagos, leader, and both players who had never played the game before clashed in a tightly fought game. After a couple of rounds the players had picked on the runs and were playing against each other without my help and enjoyed the game.
Both sides had the following 300 point list
1x Lochagos, Leader
1x Promachos, Hero
1x group of Hoplites, Heavy Infantry
2x groups of Peripoloi, Medium Infantry
1x group of Peltastai, Light Infantry
1x group of Sphendoetai, Slingers
