Manda's (Amachan) Sister Superior Amalia Novena
Update #3
I started with a little bit of the gold detailing I forgot the yesterday.
For the cloth I decided to use some highlights, which I rarely ever do because I don’t like look of it. I don’t think they came out too bad. But I started with a base of Vallejo Model Color Royal Purple (70.810) and gradually blended it with Vallejo Model Air White Grey (71.119) on my palette. I added a drop of Vallejo Retarder Medium (70.597) to slow the drying of the paint and then apart from the first base coat I applied coats of shading from dark to light using a fairly wet brush so that there is some more water in it as well to help blend the paint in.
I painted the pins and metal bits of the frag grenades with Vallejo Model Air Steel (71.065).
I painted some of the unarmoured bits of the suit with Vallejo Panzer Aces Dark Rubber (70.306).
I got a basecoat on the base using a mix between Vallejo Model Color Sand Yellow (70.916) & Vallejo Model Air White Grey (71.119) at a ratio of approximately 75/25. This desaturates the colour a bit.
