Malifaux: Som'er Crew: The Bayou Boss

The box is a 2nd Edition starter crew with seven 32mm miniatures in hard plastic.

I brought 2 Bayou Gremlin boxes some time ago:

Many Gremlin traditions trace their origins to Som’er, including having a big hat to distinguish rank, distilling moonshine, and training pigs as mounts and food. His success as a bandit has made Som’er a local legend, drawing recruits from all over the Bayou.

As indicated in my other Malifaux project each “Master” has a Keyword, Som’er Teeth Jones unsurprisingly therefore BIG HAT his totems are the 2 Skeeters so they are free, so the box has 17 Soul Stones.

Looking online it

appear the Bayou Bushwackers Keyword is TRICKSY which is the keyword of the “Master” Mah Tucket.

Arranged to play some games with the other “Thursdays Nighters” to learn the rules at my local club Imperial Games (Exeter).

Thurstan Honey led our Merry band of “Thursday nighters” – Mick Allen, Chris Payne and Myself in some games. He supplied the models.

We have played 3 games slowly learning the rules and synergies.

Mick clearly smitten then went full Malifaux crazy and painted up himself a crew in a week which we played against this week.

So with the advent of 3rd edition the 2nd edition boxes are on offer so I have purchased:
