I use these little bottles from Amazon to take regular paint and prep for the airbrush. 10ml STEEL NEEDLE TIP DROPPER BOTTLES They are inexpensive and you add a little thinner or flow improver along with the paint and now you can keep your air paints while working on the project.
Instead of buying a base to hold the bits after spraying this is pluck foam stuck to old package foam. The great thing is once it gets a little primer and paint on it stiffens up even more to hold heavy objects.
