Ok folks, so the weekend is fast approaching!

Due to work (roll on that lottery win!) i’m only back for like half the day saturday, so i’m mainly going to be involved sat evening and sunday (so i’ve made a little more progress building and painting than I originally intended)

so the following is listed:

My Knight crusader which ive finally assembled and actually remembered to keep it so I can move the arms (in theory I spose you can switch the arms out as needed but the shoulder plates get in the way, plus my two playmates mainly run horde armies)

my drones. So an interesting one with this as I tried contrast paints! I also LOVE contrast paints for certain elements. I didn’t expect plaguebearer flesh to be quite so yellow in terms of paint, but I found it works really well for the membranes on the wings, and I used the turquoise for the carapace. That being said I had also attempted to use some incubai darkness (which I had thinned myself and put into a dropper bottle and basically made a whole load really funky because of the thinner I used). So in the pics one is mainly painted with contrast paints and the other two were the previous paints. still some work to do on them but they are getting there.

My green horde grows! i’m loving the way the blood and guts stand out so much against the green wash skin, although I wonder if I then use a shade would that totally trash the skin? would it be better to just shade the guts etc and leave the overall skin alone?

Its also made me kit bash galore! so i dug in my bits box and found some beatmen parts, genestealer cult and mechanicum parts and slapped them all together. I think it can basically make 1x unit of 10 with hand weapon and pistol and 1x unit of 10 with autoguns (if I use them as cultists) so they are also going to be worked on.
