Flames of War Germans
The 8.8cm AA/AT guns have the colour scheme applied
This is just a quick post of an 8.8cm AT/AA gun with the colour scheme described for the armour applied. I did find something handy for where the shells are loaded which I did by accident. Having painted that particular part Ironbreaker I then applied a Nuln Oil wash. I was quite heavy-handed and took a little too long to take it off. I added water to my brush and removed the excess which left the usual stain ring. This makes it look like a regularly used channel for the shells that have worn into the metal.
I really like these models as they show off a lot of the engineering of these deadly weapons. I still need to add some weathering in the form of chipping and rust but am very happy with where they are at now.
Great to see all the posts on peoples projects for the FoW slow grow league this weekend. Keep it up, guys.
Very nice
