What are you thinking of doing as the theme for the bases buddy?

Going to base with sand, paint it grey then add some red bricks and wood to the base. I thought about picking up some proper FoW Urban bases but decided against it.

My bases will essentially be the polar opposite of your own. Much less vibrant.

Great work @elessar2590 , and great questions from @noyjatat and @robert – A lot of these paras in this battle were fighting in urban terrain, which I find is often tricky when it comes to basing.

And I like the PIAT! I hope you have more luck with it than the British did in real life! 😀

I’ve had a lot of success with my Paras in Bolt Action. They’ve got quite the reputation for digging in like ticks and being impossible to shift. Zero vehicles, lots of mortars and many, many SMG’s seems to be the way to go. Surprisingly the Plastic Soldier Company Kit comes with no SMG’s outside of the Officers.

I’ll try out basing one unit today and see how my idea works out.
