Manda's (Amachan) Gaming Table
The Board Progress Update 1
So I started work on my gaming table. The first layer of filler is down covering most of the gaps in the OSB. I will let this dry for a while and probably tomorrow do a second probably a bit more thinned down layer to get the last gaps I didn’t get.
Don’t forget to seal the whole plate at the end, since OBS gives off some nasty fumes over time. You may also get some warping issues, so painting the back side may be a necessity.
I thought the resin used in the making of OSB pretty much seal the top and bottom, just not the sides.
No, they’re not sealed, just when they’re dry they stink less. If you don’t seal them properly, they will take on moisture when it’s humid. Painting them adds moisture as well, obviously. So I’d recommend letting all the paint dry thoroughly, then seal with a few layers of varnish at the end.
Thanks for letting me know.
