I’ve posted some of them over at What Are You Painting Now but decided to open a project blog as this is going to be a more comprehensive thing.

I actually remember watching the evacuation of the US embassy in Saigon on telly as a little kid and have always been interested in this conflict since. Shame there are still no plastic figures for it but at least we have finally some great metal ones with the releases from Empress and Gringo.

So far I’ve only got Empress but I will almost certainly end up getting some from Ged as well.

Empress was a no-brainer for me as I knew Paul Hicks will work his magic yet again. Over the last decade or so I’ve literally painted hundreds of his Indochina War figures and over the years of a dealer/ addict relation we ended up being sort of friends and he lets me have sneak peaks of things he sculpts and occasionally asks for my opinion and even advise ?

Anyways, let’s have a look at some pictures now. Starting with Indochina..
