Counter Mechanic
Counter Dice Mechanic
Attacker rolls a dice and adds the level of the element. So let’s say he’s cast a level 5 lightning bolt and an opposing unit. The attacker rolls a D10 and gets a 7. He then adds 5 to give a score of 12.
Defending player has decided to try and block the lightning bolt with a huge chunk of Earth and has created a level 8 mound of Earth in its way. He rolls a D10 and gets a 3+8 (for level) + 2 (type advantage) and gets 13.
Defensive score is higher than attacking score spell is successfully countered.
Ties mean spell is countered.
Player with type advantage adds 2.
