Core Concept Behind Building Spells:

  1. Define Magical Elements (The Ingredients) and their attributes and what that means in game.  For example:
    1. element Fire, with attributes:
      1. Burn / Fire (Level x 1″)
      2. Illuminate (Level x 4″)
    2. element Water, with attributes:
      1. Water (Level x 1″)
      2. Mixes with Earth
      3. Mixes with Lightning
  2.  Define tasks that you can perform (usually on the element) and what that means in game
    1. Create
    2. Grow
    3. Multiply
    4. Move
    5. Combine
  3. Player defines which ones and number of the above that he / she wants for a particular spell – the recipe (and the cost of the spell)
