Core Spell Creation Concept
Core Concept Behind Building Spells:
- Define Magical Elements (The Ingredients) and their attributes and what that means in game. For example:
- element Fire, with attributes:
- Burn / Fire (Level x 1″)
- Illuminate (Level x 4″)
- element Water, with attributes:
- Water (Level x 1″)
- Mixes with Earth
- Mixes with Lightning
- element Fire, with attributes:
- Define tasks that you can perform (usually on the element) and what that means in game
- Create
- Grow
- Multiply
- Move
- Combine
- Player defines which ones and number of the above that he / she wants for a particular spell – the recipe (and the cost of the spell)
