Bases
The bases all appear to be blank and smooth. The models are already attached and will be hard to remove without destroying and replacing the bases. They are always meant to be indoors on man made flooring so we can’t just sick some sand down and call them done. Hand painting rug patterns on to them is beyond me. I don’think I could paint reasonable tiles or wooden planks. Right ow my best option appears to be painting them metal and rusting them up, but I don’t think that will fit in with most game tiles. It also leaves the bases a little empty.
Does anyone have any other ideas for enhancing the bases? Alternate paint schemes? Inexpensive things that could be added to them to enhance their sense of place and add variety?
