Spring Cleaning - A-bad'un the Bit-smaller

Seeing as this project is all about spring cleaning i figured this would be a good time to use some of the extra bits from the Blackstone Fortress model sprues. Two of the remaining pieces are perfect, a set of chaos icons to use on the base.
one of the icons needed to be cut short due to a hand being modelled in the middle of the staff, to add a bit more length i used a cocktail stick and trimmed off one end at a point which was about the same thickness as the base of the icon.
once assembled it was just a matter of doing a basic metal paint job with a black/brown staff, rusting effect can easily be made by doing a 1 to 1 mix of scrag brown and ryza rust then watering down with abut 3-4 parts water to make a very watery wash.
I also had a very very old pack of grass tufts in my hobby box, i figured this would be a good time to use a couple and add a little more detail to Abaddons base
one icon was placed at the front of the base and the second larger icon was placed at the rear impaling the heart of the imperial eagle, with the grass tufts applied this project should now be done.
