So my only gripe with AOS when it came out was how it decimated my high elves and for me made it almost impossible to easily put on the table in a coherent force.
So to mark this I have decided to base them in snow as they were banished to the mountain ranges.

The Snow texture is wonderful. Do you paint the base surface any particular colour before applying it?
I did think about that but in my haste just went direct, now I think because I used it quite liberally it covers well. I might experiment with some snow flock to add some fluffy-ness to it because obviously the texture paint dries hard and quite harsh.
