Kings of War Empire of Dust Army Build
Not forgotten, just been busy but progress is being made slowly slowly :)
Hey everyone, so a quick update on this project which although it may seem not a lot has been achieved, I have actually sunk a lot of hours into preparing and building these miniatures.
Still to go is a regiment of spearmen and six more large infantry to flush out the units pictured. The Balefire Catapult isn’t part of my 1500 points force but will be part of my 2000 point force and I do really like the miniature.
I have taken my time and gone to the trouble of magnetising all the bases so I can better transport them upright and to allow me to do a nice little setting board to carry them on at events.
Hoping to have the remainder built by the end of May before picking up the paint brushes and bringing them to life…..so to speak 🙂
Mantic’s hybrid kits are nice but they are hard work. You are doing a great job, keep it up.
@Robert thanks very much buddy. I agree the fit between the metals and plastics is not great and the joins are often badly moulded but the Egyptian theme really is nice once you get past that bit 🙂
