Here are the three coats looked at for inspiration for the Commissars jacket. One is a Gurkha’s trench coat from the 1950’s one is a Royal Navy Officers coat with the shiny buttons. The Prison Wardens coat was the most useful for the miniature. The coat belt acts as a good break in the miniature parts and hides the fix.
