UNITS OF THE ZULU WAR 1879
INTERLUDE
Some holiday snaps at the battlefields. I found Isandlwana to be a very moving sight littered with the white cairns marking the burial sights of the fallen. The men were buried were they fell so you get an interesting perspective of how the battle flowed. The larger the cairn the more bodies are buried beneath so you can see where the last stands took place.
Holy hell, how have I not seen this thread until now? Great work, I love the historical research that’s been put into the battlefield, painting, and units before the hobbycraft got under way.
I mean, it’s no AMERICAN REVOLUTION, but still … 😀 😀 😀
Ha no but at least we won this one. Thanks for that. They are my two big periods that I collect and was interested for many years before I got chance to start collecting and it was the first historical army went for. Actually treading the ground was a dream come true when I got to do it.But like all collections there is always more to get.
