En Avant! A Bolt Action Tournament
The Tournament
The Tournament is being organised by a good friend of mine in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia at the Queensland Northern Nnights Club (Check them out on Facebook).
The Restrictions Are:
– Single reinforced platoon
– 1250pts
– No more than 16 order dice
– Maximum of 1 free unit per army!
– Maximum of 1 flamethrower per army
– 0-1 “Super-unit” allowed – e.g Kaukopartio, Brandenburgers, Mongolian Cavalry etc
– 0-2 Japanese suicide units allowed
– NO IS-3 OR MAUS
– We also expect a reasonable degree of historical accuracy. No Panzer 1s backed up by assault-rifle wielding Grenadiers loaded to the gills with Panzerfausts etc
– Time limit – this will be enforced, by means of a score penalty. We shouldn’t have to do this, but we will if necessary.
– Theatre selectors from the relevant ‘Armies of’ books are allowed with TO approval – message the page direct.
– The following lists are permitted:
* Australian platoons from the New Guinea book
* Hungarian PDF
* Free French from the Western Desert and Battle of the Bulge
* Ethiopia PDF
– Armoured platoons are allowed with the following restrictions:
* All vehicles must be armour 7 or less
* They MUST be open-topped
The Scenarios are:
Round 1: Meeting Engagement
Round 2: Traitor’s Run (an adapted version of BAA’s Kittyhawk Down)
Round 3: Demolition
