My first project - Vikings
Almost there!
Haven’t posted in a couple of weeks because I simply haven’t quite had enough time to get my Warbands finish!
The red for the war lord is a bit much but services it’s purpose of making him stand out!
I have 5 shields and the basing to finish then my Viking 4 point Saga Warband will be complete!
Hopefully get a picture of them all by the end of the week!
Loving seeing this come together, even with the break you’re still leaps and bounds in front of me for speed and the warband is really coming together beautifully. Thanks a lot and don’t think I would have progressed as quickly had it not been for the input of the community and in particular you!

I’ll dig the photos out and start the Saga Saga Project again that I had on the old forum to get those photos up. But you’re going great guns, the only question remains…when are we going to see beserkers?
That is a good question! I do like the footsore models particularly the leaping berserker!
The plan is to get a Saxon war band painted up then have a game then start to expand the war band (since I am still yet to have a game! Although I am tempted to half the viking warband to have a little game of SAGA to get used to the combat mechanics)
https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-entry/1307960/?updated=true#snav I’m going to go back and add in paints that can be used for each of the colours types. I’ll probably do that this evening but I’m off to make dinner now. Let me know what you think.
