To start repainting the Deathwing terminators, I used an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush at approximately 20 bars of air pressure to spray a slightly diluted layer of Citadel Zandri Dust.

The next steps are:

  1. In the recesses paint Citadel Shade Seraphim Sepia.
  2. Go back over the areas where the shade may have seeped outside of the recesses with Citadel Base Zandri Dust.
  3. Highlight the raised edges with a slightly chunky coat of Citadel Layer Ushabti Bone.
  4. If you prefer to go the extra mile finish up with a fine highlight of Citadel Layer Screaming Skull.

I started by painting the Blood Angels first and was starting to paint the black under armor and noticed how difficult it was not to accidentally get Citadel Base Abaddon Black on the completed armor.  So for the Deathwing terminators I painted the under armor prior to Step 2.
