Walkways Completed and Repaired Portions Painted
I finished painting both of the long 19th Century Walkways as well as the damaged ladder section I had to rebuild. No surprises here, really, but I need a larger space to photograph the all set up. I did add a shot with minis as I couldn’t resist.
The broken railing on the stairs (see earlier post on Lessons Learned) was sealed with a little more superglue after I fixed what I could. Once that dried I applied wood putty to try and even out a few of the bends and rough spots. Once that dried I trimmed and sanded it to even out the edges. I did prime it with a brush on white primer before painting the entire piece. All in all not a bad fix. The real trick will be to avoid breaking anything else I am assembling in future. Ah dreams…
Love the Golden Gate Bridge color on the walkways!
I think they will go nicely with your brick buildings.
