Day Three Happened - And I Forgot To Post It!
As Halloween is vastly, supremely approaching.. the time window to walk the streets dressed like a Cyber-weirdo is closing. Research, research and look what is already out there. To help create the costume you want.
What issues did others run into with their costume idea’s? How did they overcome them? Did they suffocate in black ink, and thought “I won’t do that again? How does Rorschach do it?”
The VEST! I found the perfect item I wanted, Duke Nukem’s vest. It’s full of pouches and has even room for little stun grenades and other remote drone type things. Both the Vest and the Mask where sent to me from the same online retailer. However, the vest did pose some issues – I need to find stuff to shove into each pouch!
A reason to buy more junk!? Hooray! I already an idea for the 40mm Grenade loops on the front of the vest. Bubbles! I bought bubble blowers from a local Pound-land equivalent and spray painted the tops red, and the bottoms black. Testing if they would leak in rigorous Cyber-Shadow-Crime fighting.
I Then needed hand-cuffs (Rorschach has a pair of those!) and the good ‘ole smiley pin/badge (The Comedian’s Badge). So I called around, asking for handcuffs… No, I didn’t.
Some GW Mephiston Red fixed up the smiley badge nicely, I’m quite impressed actually. (I painted it and wiped it off too many times! XD)
