After finishing the HQ I started to work on the first squad. As I had not had all the minis yet the squad was only 7 men strong at the time. There are a couple of Privates, PFCs and Corporals and the squad is lead by a Staff Sergeant.

@bothi how did you do the arm patches on these guys, they look painted on? I have some airborne in the wing and love the look you have.
They are the normal airborne decals from Warlord. But I treat them alot. First I use Micro Set and Micro Sol during the appliance. A single layer of Micro Set when putting the decal on the mini. And then 3-5 layers of Micro Sol on top of the decal with 5-10 minutes in between (so it nearly dries through). Micro Sol solves the decal a bit so be sure not to rip it. But it makes it really tight on surface with all the curves and edges. When this is dry I put on a single layer of army painter… Read more »
Thanks, i have the mocro sol and micro set but have never managed to get it to work, then again ive never used as many applications so it seems perserverance is the way forward. Thanks for the tips should make painting mine much easier! Enjoying the project so far, keep it up 😀
