The quality in the detail on these is probably better than my painting shows. The Butcher was a little rushed as I needed him for a campaign, so I may go back and revisit him at a later date.
The Kingsman is quite a static pose, but it’s a joy to paint. This was one of my first attempts at zenithal priming before laying on the paint. I think this is mostly evident on the cloak, where I really had very little work to do!
The Hand I’m a little disappointed with. Mainly it’s the cloak – I thought about using red, but I had used that on the Kingsman and I wanted this to be different. I think I also need to highlight the gold more to really make it stand out. Beautiful model though.
