With no convention to impose a deadline on my painting I will have to keep up my motivation on my own.  Since there aren’t many Ash and Oak club members left I should be able to do so.  Last night I started my truck model.  It went from primer to having the first layers of washes applied.

Nice, sharp details on the model. It should paint up nicely.Nice, sharp details on the model. It should paint up nicely.

After using the same colors as the base coats I added white and yellow for a couple of layers of hightlight. After using the same colors as the base coats I added white and yellow for a couple of layers of hightlight.
Looking good but stil not quite done.Looking good but stil not quite done.

Some of the final club members I need to finish are Lord Bucklepunch and the two “distant relatives” which are all primed and waiting for paint.  In the desk, waiting filing and glue are Captain Fredrick Olafson and another butler I want to assemble holding the bomb.  In addition, I just landed an eBay lot that includes a Mary Fearless mini so I guess I will be adding her to my collection after all.  Still think the Hasslefree Steam Boudi, sculpted by Kev White, is my favorite.

Finally, the terrain I so rapidly assembled will need to be painted as well so expect to see it showing up here soon.

I have to say I love the steampunk design of the truck.
