Wouldn’t surprise me, @tuffyears . Paramount / CBS can be very protective of their Star Trek IP, I remember when they all but sank FASA’s Star Trek Tactical Starship Combat Simulator wargame back in the 80s, and what they did to the superlative “Prelude to Axanar” fan film.
I LOVE the freakin’ Gorn! Oh, wait, *ahem* I mean “Reptilian Rim Alien.” Ironic, since that character / race never appeared in TNG, only “Arena” episode of TOS.
