I have some standing stones by Fenris Miniatures that were painted at different times, the viking stones were a lot darker than the spiral stone so I progressively dry brushed, Vallejo Khaki Grey, GW Ushbati Bone and finally a light dry brush of white. I then proceeded to the stones and Vachel's bases, I started with a base coat of GW Rhinox Hide, followed by dry brushes of the paint illustrated in this and the following photo.I have some standing stones by Fenris Miniatures that were painted at different times, the viking stones were a lot darker than the spiral stone so I progressively dry brushed, Vallejo Khaki Grey, GW Ushbati Bone and finally a light dry brush of white. The models finished. for the basing I started by adding various Lichens, some fern and flowers from Gaugemaster by Noch (railroad scenery company) some tufts and smaller flowers, when this had dried I superglued some individual strands of flowers to bases, finally I added some grass flocks. Finished on Friday but had to wait til today for chance to photograph outside. The models finished. for the basing I started by adding various Lichens, some fern and flowers from Gaugemaster by Noch (railroad scenery company) some tufts and smaller flowers, when this had dried I superglued some individual strands of flowers to bases, finally I added some grass flocks.
