Moving on from getting the single miniature finished I started in on the Terminators.
The first thing I realised is I need to do these a little quicker, but the issue with this set is EVERY model is highly detailed character.
As an interesting aside. I remember seeing these guys when they first came out and I was gobsmacked with what GW had done with the Terminators and Genestealers, however, getting some more modern AoS and 40K figures I can see the improvements that have happened since these were made. On the other hand the one thing these models have that I see a little less off these days is the dynamic poses found in this set .. anyway back to the info
Basically I painted these guys in 2 coats of thinned down GW’s Evil Sunz Scarlet followed by a wash of GW’ s Carroburg Crimson and then a very light dry brush of Army Painter Lava Orange .. then I went over the miniatures edge highlighting with the Lava orange to give the edges more definition. The Librarian was painted in GW’s Kantor Blue with a wash of GW’s Drakenhof Nightshade, drybrushed with Gw’s Alitoc Blue and edge highlighed with army painters Electric blue ..
