Adventures in Airbrushing
Atlantis Miniatures Orc
In the last entry, I took the Atlantic Miniatures Orc from primer to having the main color and shading all done.
I’ve finished off the brushwork now, first off I watered down the original base green to a glaze like consistency and put a couple of coats over the entire skin to bring up the stark purple shading a little.
The rest was simply using thin paints, allowing the shadows and highlights created by the airbrushing to guide the paint. I chose a muted palette to give a natural feel to the cloth, and added a splash of colour with the hair and a dried/congealed blood effect on the skull.
Now I have to find a suitable basing approach to fit this, open to any ideas.
