Here is the Guardian of Souls for the Nighthaunts. Wanted to try out the nihilakh oxide technical paint to give a verdigris effect on the Guardians bronze/copper lantern and sword.

Wasn’t too sure about fiery jaw/chin piece in the official paint scheme, so went for a more bloody look.

Whilst the Nighthaunt overall in the Soul Wars boxset managed to stay together nicely even with tiny contact points, I did manage to break this guys sword arm, so it looks little incorrect here.

Quite like how the plume on the lantern has turned out with it's blue glaze.Quite like how the plume on the lantern has turned out with it's blue glaze.

I really like the colours used in this. The use of the glaze and the blending on the flame looks awesome. I wouldn’t have guessed the sword arm has been reported if to hadn’t have mentioned it.

Great project, Soul Wars is such a good set to get started into a bunch of hobby and quickly get it to the table. your project shows that off perfectly.

Nice work Dave. The sword arm broke for me too while snipping the part off the sprue. The nighthaunts are cool minis but my 1 complaint is they could do with an extra contact point every now and again to help stabilise the mini. Some of them are like bobble heads the way they move.
