So to start this project I needed some materials.

This game board will initially be used to play Wild West Exodus  so I needed a 3×3 playing area.

The material I decided upon was 6mm MDF

For ease of Storage I wanted the board cut into segments.

So off I went to my local hardware store where I purchased my MDF and got them to cut it into 45cm x 45cm squares for me.

Total cost including the cutting £4.80

Now that’s a fantastic job @thedace that’s why better than I thought textured MDF I thought it was that rough boarding the have on building sites for the panel wall’s. But the final job looks a million times better than that.

Have you considered drilling small holes to magnetized the board’s together.
