Burrows and Badgers: A Furry Tail
Never trust a Weasel!
So, I’ve finished my crossbow weasel. I must say I absolutely love this little guy! A pleasure to paint, just like all of the other oathsworn B&B mini’s. I particularly like the idea of giving him a crossbow, it’s very fitting for a weasel when you consider the game is set in a furry fantasy version of England, where the crossbow was looked upon as a weapon of no skill and only a cheat would use it. So naturally a weasel that often comes across as untrustworthy and sneaky should be armed with such a weapon. Weather Michael the sculptor intended for that I don’t know but if he did, very smart thinking indeed sir!!
Just thought I’d add some slightly better pictures of this guy.
Poor weasels, always the villains of the piece!
Looks fantastic! Please take this as a compliment when I ask if he’s painted with metallic paints or NMM? It’s hard to tell – either way it looks great 🙂
thanks dude! he’s done with citadel metallic paints. I personally don’t like the NMM style of painting , looks like it takes too long and i’m already a slow enough painter as it is 😛
I saw this project on the hobby catch up and was very impressed. Very fine work.
