My first couple shots here show the process of filling out the crew compartment. I added a lower plate for the crew area and the extra lip for the weapon mount area as well as starting the armored side walls for the crew compartment. This was all done with 1.5 mm plasticard. I could have gone with a thicker card and in my next attempt I will likely use 2 or even 3 mil plasticard for extra support.
