What was I thinking!? :(

It was when I started painting the main structure of the shrine that I realised I’d messed up and made things hard on myself.

As you can see from the picture, what I had thought was a lovely smooth piece of wood has turned into a horrible rough and ragged looking thing!

Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand! Next time I will sand!

Really upset my OCD for smooth paint work

Fueling my frustration further I had to carefully paint the different parts of the window frames and walls, which I could have done in minutes if I had only painted them as separate parts.

Ho hum!

You live and learn…
