The first batch of 8 get some paint. The minis are a mix of perry plastics and foundry metals. The foundry minis are definitely shorter than the perrys but fingers crossed when they are all based and together it wont make too much of a difference. Im using a halfords grey primer (as much of the mini is going to end up grey). Using vallejo dark prussian blue for the tops and chcolate brown the the rifles, the rest is painting the skin and then brushing on army painter strong tone dip to create the shading. Next steps are to highligt the grey and bring out the blue in the uniform. The faces need a bit more shading too in the deepest recesses as i think they look a bit off at the moment. The first batch of 8 get some paint.
