Doomshaper Takes Shape
Warlock starts to see the light.Although not the only mini to have paint on it, so far the entire starter set has the skin areas, that will be painted, with a basecoat of Vallejo Model Colour Light Flesh. Over a black background this is taking multiple thin layers, but this is helped by the use of Flow Improver. To help me keep everything in place I am using the app PaintRack to collect colours used, and I can’t recommend that app enough!
So the plan is to have the skin be VERY pale, but not quite albino, and then the extremities will be painted with a cracked black skin, akin to the look of charred flesh. However outside of the skin tones I am lost as to where to go next with the armour, clothing, tartan and weapons. So if you have any ideas let me know 🙂
