The Milites Christi
Deus lo Vult Saga lets you run the military monastic orders, which you pick is entirely up to you. You can mix and match or run them as a single order and you can be as historically accurate as you like.
For myself I’ve chosen the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem, or the Knights Hospitaller for a couple of reasons.
Firstly they’re 15mm and their opponents will be a Saracen army in a riot of colours, so having black uniforms will be a striking look on the table top.
Secondly there is an option to take a hearthguard unit of the original 8 Templar Knights as a warband leader. So I felt if I ever want to field this option I like it to be very distinct from the rest of the force.
