TravelBattle From Perry Miniatures Up For Pre-Order
March 13, 2017 by brennon
Perry Miniatures has put their awesome TravelBattle set up for pre-order on their website for its mighty launch at Salute later this year. Fancy heading off on a holiday and taking some miniature gaming with you?
The game box comes with everything you need to play out some Napoleonic battles anywhere...well, almost anywhere. Inside the set, you get two forces in both blue and red...
...who are presented in around 8mm scale. You can see the 3UPs here which show off in a little more detail the kind of force you're getting.
The game also features a rules set (of course) which allows you to play out simple battles in around an hour. That sounds like the perfect amount of time on a long train journey to fill with gaming goodness.
The battlefield that you see above has been designed that it can fit together via any side allowing you to make a series of different battlefields to test your skills on. This sounds like a great idea and it's already got a lot of gamers attention.
We shall have to check this out when we get to Salute this year!

Looks ok.
Did to see painted pictures of the troops.
Are they generic or French & British.
They’re generic, so whichever nations float your boat.
Oh very nice ………….Well played the Perrys
Need to see the rules before deciding to go for this or not
That would liven up my daily commute!
Really like the idea of this, plus it’s a small toe in Napoleonics without suddenly acquiring another army. Perry’s did mention on facebook it may get expanded with minis or if successful into other periods.
Fantasy?
@goreshade didn’t say but I suspect ACW or something historical
I kind of miss the days of “blue and red” gaming. Almost reminds me of the golden, half-remembered days of “green vs. tan” on the living room floor. 😀 😀 😀
Yeah, I think I would leave these unpainted. It somehow looks more appropriate.
