New Napoleonic Vignettes Now Available From Perry Miniatures!
March 27, 2015 by brennon
This year might be the year of Agincourt at Salute 2015 but that hasn't stopped Perry Miniatures working away on all things Napoleonic. They have no released both their Secure the Colours and A Hard Contest Vignettes that depict vital moments in battle. They also have another character set with General Ponsonby & Staff for you to pick up too!
First up we have both of the Vignettes that show off a charge to steal the colours and then a desperat stand to fend off soldiers trying to take them! I think A Hard Contest (the second one) is my favourite just because it's right after that action shot where he's taken out that horseman and he's open to the bayonet of the French soldier.
The General Charges!
Taking a less action packed stance we have General Ponsonby & Staff who are riding into battle and shouting orders at the same time.
His faithful officers, Thomas Reginolds and Lacy Evens are scanning around for potential threats as Ponsonby charges onwards.
Which of the Vignettes do you prefer?

Those are really good.
Wonderful stuff from the Perrys.
ordered both the vignettes and ponsonby, fyi ponsonby is not ridding into battle but fleeing when the union brigade caught in de flank by the french line lacers. adding some line lacers you can make a nice vignette
Splendid stuff. I’ve ordered “A Hard Contest” and seeing Chris Adcock’s name on the other piece put a smile on my face. I hope life is treating you well, sir.
