Army Painter have a few new release out for August so let's take a look:
First up we have their Colour Primer: Crystal Blue. A a light and nice crisp blue perfect for High Elves, but is also the colour for all Lizardmen, American Civil War troopers and many other armies. It has many uses and looks extremely good with any Quickshade especially the Strong or Dark Tone.
Moving on there is also a new addition to there Battlefields range the Poison Ivy. When it comes to making your bases exceptional - nothing is going to beat the Poison Ivy. A truly unique look and absolutely perfect for any forest, jungle or just highly realistic scenic bases. Can be added to all types of buildings and trees as well.
And finally they have also came out with a new Jungle Tuft. The lighter green tufts are essential for Jungle, forest or spring looking bases. For a truly stunning base you can combine them with the Swamp Tuft or Poison Ivy.
The New Releases will be in stores on August 16th in Europe and August 30th in North America or direct from The Army Painter online webstore.

looking good, i’ll have to check out there other spray can paints. How good are they going down onto a model?
Really really well, they have the best colored spray primers available
The sprays are good but you have to be careful when applying them as the spray has a tendency to go on rather thick. Use a test-model first to get the range and such before spraying on your regular models.
Army Painter’s Colour Primers. type that in the forum search i uploaded pics just to show how good it is
sweet with new stuff I must get that Poison Ivy spray ^^
thats not spray……
I went to the store the other day and the Army Painter sprays were pulled off the shelf, apparently they were recalled by Health Canada due to not meeting label standards.
The Poison Ivy and Jungle Tufts look great though.
That is going to be very useful for making my jungle/forest scenery.
That Jungle Tuft look great. A good set of releases for any Lizardmen players out there 🙂
Cool, scenic scatter has come on some
NIce, but not exactly new or ground breaking on the tuffs or leaves front.
If you like these you will love the MiniNatur / Silflor and the Plus Models Leaves stuff you can get at antenocitisworkshop.com

Cool!, teenie weenie wikkle weaves never had anything like that back in the 80’s.
i wonder if “Jungle Tuft” means something different in the UK… >.<
One can easily see that Army Painter hasthe good of playersclose to their hearts. The ease with which you can paint your entire army, with a simple yet effective colour scheme is great. I’m talking my frined into painting his Necrons with the metalic primer. When I told himm about it he couldn’t believe that he could have his whole battleforce painted in hours. Now he believes me and wants to use their metalic primer to basecoat them and Darktone quickshade for a quick but solid tabletop quality.
