Classic Dungeon Delving Returns As Otherworld Rules Release In PDF
August 20, 2015 by dracs
Otherworld Miniatures' set of fantasy skirmish rules have just been released as a pdf, making this game of classic dungeon delving adventure more easily available to the digital age.
Described as being "set in a fantasy world from the golden age of gaming, and using state of the art rules and game mechanics," Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish complements Otherworld Miniatures extensive range of models styled after the art from the days of Gygax.
By getting released in digital format, Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish should now become far more accessible to those gamers who might like to give it a go. There is plenty to draw in both old and new players, with the game's retro style and reportedly easy-to-learn rule system, so I hope we get to find out more about how it plays as a result.
Is this a game you'd be tempted to try?

Looks cool 🙂 just picked up some OW Gnolls on swedish ebay for a good price, really liking the style.
I’m loving the dungeon crawler at the moment, can’t wait to see this.
I’ve got a post up on my blog about how to make 3d dungeon tiles that folks reading this might appreciate, I’ll just leave this here 🙂

Why O why did they leave out character progression…!??!
The rules look great for more narrative-driven skirmishes. They said there would be progression in a future expansion if there was enough popular demand (there is!).
