Don’t Miss The Burrows & Badgers Salute Releases Bundle
August 27, 2024 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures has recently added some great new figures for Burrows & Badgers to their webstore that were previously only available from Salute this year. The bundle can be snapped up as a whole or you can get your hands on individual miniatures from the set.
Salute Bundle // Burrows & Badgers
The set comes with six metal and two resin miniatures which could be used to start up a brand new warband or supplement one that you already have. At the heart of the warband are the Hedge-Knights which take the form of the Squirrel, Hare, Marmot, Otter and Beaver.
Beaver Hedge-Knight // Burrows & Badgers
Each of the miniatures are fantastic sculpts (as always) that will be fun to paint up, especially in this more grim style that you see in these images. They are all in good fighting stances as well which always works well for a skirmish game where you want your miniatures to look as dynamic as possible.

Squirrel Hedge-Knight // Burrows & Badgers
As well as the new Hedge-Knights, you will also be able to get the terrifying Massive Mist-Ghast. This can take the form of a ghostly Badger warrior who has been summoned from a tomb somewhere, ready to do the bidding of its dark master.

Whilst I have been trying to get my hands on all of the Badgers I can for Burrows & Badgers, I might leave this spooky fellow at the door or at least not invite him in! A very cool miniature though and another one to use when going in a different direction with your warband.
As well as the warriors, you've also got these poor, hapless Shrew Pedlars who have found themselves caught up in the fighting.
Shrew Pedlars // Burrows & Badgers
You can make good use of these Shrews for your scenario play, be it as part of this collection or beyond. It's great to see this collection made available for those who couldn't make it to Salute earlier in the year and it could well be a good set to pick up as we prepare for the new edition of the game coming next year!
Do you have favourite miniatures from this collection?

Those look great, a friend of mine just painted up a bunch of B&B minis. Tempting!
Ahhh, fantastic miniatures once more. Can’t get enough of these! Might paint some up soon since they are an absolute delight to put colour on.
I do wonder whether anyone knows whether any “definitive” rules were ever published for the Necromancer warband. Maybe in the second edition?
The new edition will come with a whole bunch of new warbands. Can’t remember off hand is the Necromancer one is part of it. But, they did do more rules for the Necromancer and ghats in an Oathsworn Journal
The ‘final’ version of the Necromantic Allegiance and Spells are in the ‘Best of the Oathsworn Journal’, available from the Oathsworn webstore.
But there’ll be new rules for them in next year’s rulebook, too! 🙂
Cheers! Looking forward to them!
Picked these up at Salute, lovely minis
I know it won’t happen, but my pipe dream is that some company makes a plastic warband starter set.
I’d love to, but we just don’t have the money to do it, unfortunately!
Understood — I was thinking CMON could put out a skirmish game based on Oathsworn miniatures, much like they did with another company to make their SMOG game (although it had completely different rules). While anthros have popped up here and there in boardgames and gaming (eg. Mice and Mystics, My Little Scythe) and is a frequent staple in cartoons and other media, it’s not frequently seen in miniatures games, a field saturated with generic fantasy and, to some extent, SF.
